Hi there,

Is it possible for me to become fund manager, if I'm majoring in Mathematic and Com sci. I'm a third year math student. Last semester, I had a chance to do the project about risk measure. It called "Can Coherent Risk Measure beat Standard Deviation (for a single stock)?". I wrote the program to compare between these two risk and the result amaze me. This project make me interested in finance. So, is it possible for me to get the job in finance career. Or I need to get BBA in order to work in this field.

Thanks in advance.

Quantitative analysis is one important skill set needed for Investment career.

You can try submit the job app for analyst position and stress that you have exceptional quant skill, I think you have good chance.
