Hello,

I would like to ask some questions about fund manager career path. I am currently an 1st year undergrad student in Economics and Finance in the UK.

From what I have read on this forum, if I want to be fund manager, with no finance job experience I have to get CFA level 3, right? Will the company consider my grades in university if I have CFA level 3? And if I have job experience from here(UK), should the company in Thailand consider it as an outstanding profile? Sorry for not typing in Thai. There is no Thai keyboard here. Thank you.

Best Regards,

Sally

Hi Sally,

For me, GPA is totally irrelevant. I suggest you following your plan to get CFA III which is a good credential for entering into fund manager career.

Best,
